Arrows: Troubleshooting
Arrows are useful for showing movement, direction, or staging inside storyboard frames. If they do not behave as expected, a few simple checks usually solve the problem.
Arrows not appearing
If arrows are not appearing, check the following first:
- make sure the current workflow supports arrows
- confirm you are working inside the normal image editing flow rather than a restricted editing mode
- make sure you dropped the arrow inside the image canvas
- refresh the page if the annotation library did not load correctly
Cannot select or edit arrows
If an arrow is visible but cannot be selected or adjusted:
- click directly on the arrow element
- make sure the arrow is still inside the canvas area
- confirm you are not currently in an editing mode that limits annotation interaction
Arrows seem to disappear
If arrows disappear after being placed:
- check whether the change saved correctly
- avoid dragging the arrow fully outside the canvas unless you intend to remove it
- retry after refreshing if the page had a temporary connection issue
When to ask for help
If the issue keeps happening, note the exact steps that reproduce it and contact support. Reproducible steps make troubleshooting much faster.
