Ciaro Pro for Premiere

Ciaro Pro for Premiere is the official Adobe Premiere Pro panel. It lets you open your Ciaro stories inside Premiere, sync story media into Premiere project bins, and generate images, video, and audio with your Ciaro credits — without leaving Premiere.

The current panel is a UXP plugin. In Premiere it appears as Ciaro Pro. The current shipping version is 3.0 (for example 3.0.2).

Who it is for

Use the panel when you already edit in Premiere and want Ciaro media and generation in that same project.

You do not need the panel to use Ciaro in the browser. The web app still has the Video tab timeline, exports, and generation.

What it can do today

• Sign in to Ciaro from Premiere through a secure browser handoff (no API key typing in the panel).
• Browse your workspace stories, search, sort, and switch teams.
• Choose a local folder for a story (Choose folder), download Ciaro assets into that folder, and import them into Premiere bins under Ciaro Pro.
• Generate Image, Video, and Audio (speech, sound effects, music) for a chosen shot, using the same models and credit costs as the web app.
• After a successful generation, sync the new file and open it in Premiere’s Source Monitor so you can place it on the timeline yourself.
• Sync the Ciaro sequence with the active Premiere sequence from the story screen Sync card: status pills such as In sync, Ciaro is newer, Not linked yet, or Premiere sequence missing; pairing names for Ciaro and Premiere; Check again; direction buttons Update Premiere / Update Ciaro (or Create in Premiere / Save to Ciaro when unlinked); conflict choices Keep Ciaro, Keep Premiere, Keep both, and Decide later; and an Assets row with Resync and Disconnect folder.

What it does not do yet

Sequence sync is explicit push/pull — you choose when to send. It is not a live automatic two-way merge. The Sync card compares Ciaro revision to the revision this Premiere sequence last received; it cannot detect unsynced Premiere-side clip edits on its own. After you switch the active Premiere sequence, select Check again.

The Ciaro Video tab shows a Premiere-compatible subset only.

The panel also does not:

• silently overwrite local files when Ciaro has a newer revision (asset conflicts are recorded instead)
• upload local file edits back to Ciaro automatically
• turn an arbitrary local still that was never a Ciaro shot into a new Ciaro shot (there is no public upload path for that)
• replace or overwrite timeline clips as the default generation result (generated media is imported and previewed; you place it)

In the Ciaro web app, the same listing is under Account → Integrations (Ciaro Pro for Premiere). On the Video tab, a one-time announcement can also point you there.

Premiere version

This UXP panel requires Adobe Premiere Pro 26.3 or newer.

If someone is on an older Premiere host, do not invent an install path. Point them to Adobe Exchange for the current listing, and to Email support or Discord from Account → Integrations if their host is too old.
