AI-assisted story building

Ciaro Pro offers two complementary ways to use AI for structure and visuals: the Story Wizard (guided, end-to-end) and contextual AI actions in the Script Editor and Board (step-by-step, iterative).

Fastest path: Story Wizard

For new projects, start with the Story Wizard (opens automatically after create, or via AI wizard in the left AI gutter):

1. Paste story text
2. Pick visual style
3. Choose frame count
4. Build — format, cast, scenes, shots, and images run automatically
5. Optionally queue videos
6. Review on the Board and refine

First wizard run on a story includes free storyboard images during Build.

Iterative path: manual AI actions

When you want control at each step — or you are fixing an existing project — use the AI Assistant gutter actions:

1. Start with script content (write, paste, or import)
2. Format or analyze structure (Script Editor — Analyze script)
3. Detect scenes
4. Detect characters and review in Entity Builder
5. Create shots (per scene or all scenes)
6. Generate images (Images / Fill gaps)
7. Re-run only the steps that need improvement

Where each approach fits

Story Wizard

• New project onboarding
• You have raw story text and want a full first storyboard quickly
• You are okay with guided defaults for style and frame count
• Relaunch via AI wizard (may require reset on populated stories)

Script Editor + Script Analysis

• You pasted or imported text directly into the editor (not via wizard)
• You added substantial new text to an existing script
• You want optional control over the analysis dialog (shots on/off, shot count slider)
• Not needed right after a completed Story Wizard on the same story

Board View

Once structure exists:

• Re-analyze or update scenes
• Detect shots per scene or all scenes
• Batch-generate or fill missing images
• Open AI wizard to rebuild from scratch (with reset confirm when needed)

Practical order for iterative AI

1. Get the script into decent shape

Messy text produces messy scenes. Format early.

2. Lock in scene structure

Scenes are the backbone. Wrong scenes → wrong shots and board layout.

3. Review characters before large image batches

Character detection affects visual consistency. Fix names and portraits in Entity Builder before generating dozens of frames.

4. Shots before batch images

Images works best when shots already have prompts.

5. Batch-generate when the board is ready

Images / Fill gaps accelerates a ready board — it does not replace review.

Mindset

Ciaro is built for detect → review → edit → re-run selectively. Even the Story Wizard produces a draft; refinement is normal.
