The AI Assistant is the main AI entry point in Ciaro. It stays available across the application and helps you understand features, trigger useful actions, and move through the next step of your project.
Start here: the AI Assistant
If you are unsure where to begin with AI in Ciaro, start with the AI Assistant.
You can open it from almost anywhere in the app, so you do not have to leave your workflow to get help.
Use it when you want to:
- understand what a feature does
- ask how to do something in the current view
- trigger the next relevant AI action
- automate repetitive steps
- get help with your script, scenes, shots, prompts, or workflow decisions
The assistant can both explain how Ciaro works and surface AI tools related to what you are doing right now.
What makes it useful
The assistant is context-aware. That means it can change based on where you are in the app.
For example:
- in the Script Editor, it can help with formatting, scene detection, and character detection
- in the Board workflow, it can help with shot generation, structure follow-up, and bulk image generation
- in other areas, it can still answer questions in chat and help you find the right path forward
Two ways to use the assistant
Chat
Open the chat when you want explanation, guidance, or help deciding what to do next.
Examples:
- "How do I turn my script into scenes?"
- "What should I do next in this project?"
- "Why are my image results inconsistent?"
- "How do I generate shots for this scene?"
Contextual actions
Open the assistant when you want the fastest available AI action for the screen you are on.
Examples:
- detect scenes
- detect characters
- create shots
- generate images
- continue from the most likely next workflow step
Voice chat is also available
The assistant is not limited to typing. Ciaro also supports voice conversation with the assistant.
That means you can talk to it directly instead of writing messages. This is useful when you want a faster, more natural back-and-forth while you work.
Voice is especially helpful for:
- asking how a feature works while staying in flow
- talking through next steps in your project
- getting quick help without interrupting your workspace too much

Story Wizard (new projects)
The Story Wizard is the main onboarding AI flow. It opens when you create a new project and walks you through story text, style, frame count, automatic Build (format → cast → scenes → shots → images), and an optional video offer.
Use AI wizard in the left gutter to relaunch or Resume wizard if a build is still running.
