Fastest path: Story Wizard

For new projects, use the Story Wizard (opens on the Board after create, or AI wizard in the left gutter):

  1. Paste story text, pick style, choose frame count.
  2. Run Build — format, cast, scenes, shots, and images complete automatically.
  3. Optionally accept or skip the Videos offer.
  4. Review on the Board and refine in Create View / Entity Builder.

First wizard run includes free storyboard images during Build. See Story Wizard for details.

Manual / iterative path

When you work step-by-step in the Script Editor and Board:

  1. Put story text in the Script Editor (write, paste, or import).
  2. Run Analyze script or Find scenes from the AI gutter.
  3. On the Board, use shot actions — This scene or All shots — to break scenes into frames.
  4. Review shot cards, adjust prompts and characters.
  5. Generate images with Images / Fill gaps or shot-by-shot in Create View.

Generating storyboard images

After shots have prompts:

  • Batch: Images or Fill gaps in the AI gutter.
  • Per shot (recommended for quality): hover the shot → click Create or EditCreate View → refine prompt, style, and references → Generate.

Shot editing in Create View

  • Image Generation, Img2Img, Inpainting, Pose, Sketch-to-frame
  • Arrows/Bubbles for annotations
  • Video from a frame
