Video View

The Video tab is where storyboard shots turn into a working video timeline.

Here you can create the first clip from a shot image or reference setup, review versions, modify existing videos, and prepare the sequence for export.

What you will see

The Video tab organizes shots and clips in timeline order. The actions available for each clip depend on what already exists for that shot.

Typical cases are:

  • no video yet -> Create Video
  • completed video already exists -> Modify, Upscale, Reframe, or other follow-up actions
  • timeline work already exists -> preview, review, reorder, and export-related work

Main Video tab entry points

There are two common ways to start creating video from the Video tab:

  • Right-click an image clip on the timeline, or use the clip's visible Create Video control. Use this when you want to create from that exact clip position.
  • Click the top-right Create Video button in the Video tab. Use this when you want to enter create-video mode first, then choose the target shot and place the new clip on the timeline.

Both routes open video creation controls. The difference is whether you start from an existing timeline clip or start from a blank create-video placement workflow.

A common timeline workflow

  1. choose or generate the shot image first
  2. open the Video tab
  3. place or select the clip on the timeline
  4. use the clip actions or right-click menu
  5. create or modify the video
  6. review the result in sequence

Creating from the top-right Create Video button

When you click Create Video in the Video tab, Ciaro enters create-video mode.

In this mode, choose or confirm the target shot, set the model and prompt, and place the new clip on the timeline before generation. This is useful when you want to start a new clip intentionally rather than deriving the action from an existing timeline clip.

Creating the first clip

When you choose Create Video, the Video tab opens the video generation controls for that shot or clip.

These controls can include:

  • model
  • duration
  • resolution
  • motion prompt
  • start or end frame guidance when supported
  • reference options for supported models
  • audio options when supported

After a video already exists

Once a shot already has a completed clip, the available actions change.

You may then see workflows such as:

  • modify video
  • upscale
  • reframe
  • extend
  • add audio
  • lipsync

The exact list depends on the source video and the model family used for that clip.

Practical tip

If you are unsure what a shot can do next, select the clip and check:

  • the visible actions for the selected shot or clip
  • the right-click context menu on the timeline
  • the top-right Video tab actions such as Create Video

That is usually the fastest way to see whether the current clip is ready for Create Video, Modify, Upscale, Reframe, or review.
